Very Good - New York, Charles L. Webster, 1889. Hardback first edition and first impression. First issue with the 'S' ornament. Very Good+ condition. Corners are rubbed and the outer edges of spine are worn. Small pen inscription on the top right corner inside front board. Slight sticker residue (though not sticky) also on the inside of front board, barely visible. Vintage bookseller sticker on the inside of backboard. Spine is exceptionally tight and pages sturdy. Printing error on pages 314 and 496. Pages 218- 219 have a stain from a bookmark from the original bookstore. Overall in excellent condition for the age.
